Telenco – Telecommunications Engineering Company – is born out of the ambitious project of its three founders. It was in 1999 that these contractors decided to reunite their product and market expertise for launching an activity -nowadays historical - of pole line hardware and anchoring solutions for telecom overhead cables.
Our story
A constant economic growth
The story of Telenco started in 1999 when three entrepreneurs from the French Alps decided to combine their skills to build up an economic activity in a field already mastered by each one of them: the pole line hardware.
Driven by the booming deployment of telecom networks in France and abroad, the company experiences a strong growth ever since its creation. Out of this constant growth rises the need to adapt the Group’s offer to the market evolution, especially given the considerable development of fibre optics. Thus, the company splits in two specialized entities:
– Telenco networks for the design, the manufacture and the export of FTTH connectivity solutions ;
– Telenco distribution for sypplying all the needed material for the deployment and the maintenance of telecommunications networks, as well as the equipment for telecom technicians.
